Background:
A new 5G phone tower is proposed at the corner of Bald Hill Road SE and Lawrence Lake Road SE. This project involves constructing a 175-foot antenna and adding boosters to amplify signals
The county is using all possible loopholes to get this antenna built. They did not answer any comment despite the massive turnaround during Christmas last year, they issued a final decision on environment impact without any hearing – they even changed the name of the applicant without public notice.
We need to appeal to the recent environment decision of the county as the environmental study missed:
- lack of wildlife impact assessment on wetlands or bird habitat - no RF radiation cumulative exposure analysis- ignoring known protected species in the project vicinity
